Converse and their legendary have embraced future-forward thinking, creating one of the most sustainable models to date. Fusing together the iconic look of the Chuck Taylor All Star with Nike’s new tech, Converse have crafted this new iteration dubbed the ‘Crater’.
Staying true to their roots, they've kept all the OG details, including the toe-cap, foxing tape and pin stripe, while a recycled Crater Foam sole and reworked Morphlon upper elevate the time-tested design. A breakthrough for footwear textiles, Morphlon blends recycled polyester and post-industrial textile waste scraps to create a lightweight, eco-friendly canvas alternative.
Turning trash into an sustainable reinterpretation of an iconic silhouette, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Crater is set to drop in three colourways: charcoal, black, and white, all rocking ‘Chambray Blue’ sole units made of Crater Foam made up of 12 per cent of Nike Grind rubber.
