French Designer Isabel Marant's Converse Collection Is Finally Here

For Marant’s iteration, the classic silhouette embodies effortless luxury to coincide with the designer’s chic Parisian vibe. ‘I developed my brand in a very open and genuine way,’ Marant shared in a . ‘I chose to build it step by step to maintain complete freedom in my work. The notion of “effortless luxury” is quite authentic to me, my designs, and the meaning behind them. The word ‘luxury’ is used in too many ways, and you can get bored of it — it’s much more difficult to achieve something simple and effortless, of which you never get bored.’
Dubbed the Chuck 70 Wedge, the newest style to Converse’s catalogue arrives with a 2.5-inch wedge heel. Meanwhile, the Chuck 70 hi and low tops and Chuck 70 Ox have also been given a makeover. All designs come in a white or black version with uppers made of frayed cotton and polyester Jacquard. Elsewhere, Marant’s signature logo has been placed on the canvas overlay.
The Isabel Marant x Converse range will be available on September 11 exclusively at the Isabel Marant Turenne Paris pop-up, Isabel Marant physical and stores, and select Converse locations.
