Converse Launch the Next-Gen All Star Pro BB Evo
are getting even more serious with their performance basketball shoe re-entry, so they’re releasing the sequel to last year’s . Sensibly named the All Star Pro BB Evo, it takes the learnings from their freshman entry to fine-tune the on-court and on-foot prowess.
The All Star Pro BB Evo sits at a tweaked 5/8 height, which categorises it as a mid-cut sneaker. This is optimised further by the drop-in Nike React footbed that puts the player much closer to the ground for more responsive movements. Elsewhere, the upper doesn’t deviate far from its original mesh construction, simply adding a 50/50 material split, and the outsole pattern is also fairly similar to the original.
Expect this new model to be worn by Converse star signings and Natasha Cloud, among other players. The public release is scheduled for August 1.
