Converse Launch Creative All-Star Weekend Pop-Up in London
are bringing some ‘All Star’ energy to London, celebrating NBA All-Star Weekend with plenty of new releases, as well as a special Creative All Star pop-up experience at Hoxton Docks.
Offering London youth opportunities to gain valuable experiences and tangible tools, Creative All Star is rooted in Converse’s heritage as the original shoe of ‘All-Star Weekend’. Attendees will have the chance to learn, craft and celebrate the game of basketball, the London way, by using products as a canvas for creative expression and personalisation by local London collaborators and creatives.
London-based menswear designer and Converse collaborator Feng Chen Wang will head up customisation sessions, while Pigalle founder Stéphane Ashpool will also be on-hand to share his industry insight. Additionally, music performances by rappers Octavian and Lava La Rue will celebrate the culture of basketball and fashion.
An All-Star Weekend wouldn’t be complete without some exclusive sneaker drops, and the Converse ‘Triple White’ All Star pack headlines the weekend. Representing the most iconic eras of Converse basketball, both past and future, the pack includes super-clean renditions of the Low and High, the Pro Leather, and the Chuck 70.
If you’re after more blasts from the past, Converse are also bringing back a huge lineup of OG Pro Leather colourways, as well as a host of their favourite past collaborations, including sought-after drops alongside Midnight Studios, Pleasures, IBN Jasper, JW Anderson, and Pigalle.
The Creative All Star Series London will be held at Hoxton Docks, London, E2 8BD, on February 14, where you’ll be able cop the ‘Triple White’ All Star pack, as well as special restocks.
