Converse Team Up With Suicidal Tendencies
have been churning out the colabs lately, dropping alongside the likes of and in August before unveiling co-branded endeavours with and for September. Well you can add at least one more colab to that list: a capsule collection alongside Suicidal Tendencies.
Helmed by the seminal hardcore band’s frontman Mike Muir, the release includes both high- and low-top versions of the Chuck 70 to go along with apparel like a long-sleeved tee, poplin shirt, and sweatshorts. While the Chuck 70 Hi comes decked out in vintage canvas with a special Suicidal Tendencies patch and all-over digital print, the low-top appears in black and incorporates the band’s signature logos on the tongue and heel.
‘If someone had told me in my teens I’d have a shoe, I’d have said “no way”,’ says Muir. ‘This would totally blow away that 16-year-old kid. That’s a great thing.’
The collection will debut in Boston with a pop-up at Bodega on September 6 before hitting and additional retailers the following day.
