Cosmic Creations: CRO and Zellerfeld Launch the MARS MELLOW
German rapper CRO is orbiting earth with for a brand new model dubbed the MARS MELLOW. Revolving around the concept of being ‘trapped in paradise’, a core theme of CRO's personal brand TRIP, the interstellar silhouette of course harnesses Zellerfeld’s 3D printing technology, which has earned them widespread recognition in the industry.
Designed from the ground up, the puffy, marshmallow-esque MARS MELLOW looks like the perfect fit for otherworldly, star-hopping adventures. ‘This shoe is a journey – a trip into the unknown, where fashion, music, and technology collide,’ says CRO. ‘I wanted to design something that feels like it belongs on Mars – a shoe not just for Earth but for Martians. The MARS MELLOW is futuristic and bold, like something you’d wear while exploring a new planet. It’s playful and otherworldly, but still grounded in my identity as an artist. It’s more than just a sneaker – it’s a space-age statement, made for those ready to leave Earth behind.’
Still, CRO hasn’t quite finished his work on our little blue planet. The rapper has been busy on his ‘Cronicles’ tour, which is set to hit Leipzig, Nuremberg, Cologne, and Zurich throughout November and December. Known for his unique blend of rap and pop – which he dubbed ‘Roap’ – CRO’s breakout track came in 2012 with ‘Easy’. He’s also known for his panda mask, worn during performances and public performances, which in this case is a rather appropriate aesthetic bookend to the billowing MARS MELLOW shoes.
CRO’s MARS MELLOW with Zellerfeld are available right now to reserve right now and will be custom printed to the shape of your foot.
