Daaaaamn! Nike Reissue the Air Force 1 from ‘Friday’

Anyone that grew up in the 90s will surely have seen stoner comedy Friday, starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. Out of the blue, the black and white   worn by Ice Cube’s character, Craig Jones, are getting a retro.

It’s highly suspected the simple AF-1s featured in the 1995 movie are a colourway from the year prior. Regardless, this retro edition features upgraded black leather on the uppers, with white accents on the heel tab, Swoosh, and tongue tab. What’s different on this new version is the double-layered Swoosh that has a black backing, and the aforementioned tongue tab is white instead of 1994’s black tab.

In any case, there’s always place for a clean AF-1 in anyone’s rotation. They will release on September 28 at select retailers like Up There.
