Dime Shows Love for the Vans Half Cab’s 30th Anniversary
Vans and Dime reprise their ongoing partnership as the Montreal skate imprint re-works the Vans Half Cab yet again, this time for the silhouette’s 30th anniversary.
In 2020, the duo partnered to release the baby blue . This time around, Dime adds an ‘Oxford Tan’ colour palette to the storied 1992 skate shoe, named after seminal west-coast skater Steve Caballero. The exclusive pair comes with debossed Dime branding and a special hang tag.
Dime co-founder Vincent Tsang spoke to Sneaker Freaker about the brand’s approach to collaboration, saying ‘When it’s with a skate company like Vans or DC, we’re much more performance-driven in the sense that we always make sure the model we are working on is a shoe that skates well. That has to be the first priority.’
