Dior Officially Announce B33 Sneakers and Dior Tears Collaborations
have been making their mark on the scene with their ever-growing footwear assortment under the guidance of artistic director and . The next addition to the fashion house’s shoe offering is the B33, which has been doing the rounds on the internet for a while and has finally been officially announced.
Serving as something of a low-cut alternative to the brand’s popular B23 model, the B33 isn’t just a simple chop-and-drop. The cupsoled sneaker is reminiscent of timeless plimsoll designs with proportions tweaked to match Dior’s distinct aesthetic. It’s best expressed through the unique material and colour combinations found on the above colourways, which range from simple suede and Dior’s ‘Oblique’ jacquard fabric to wild suede and dyed mohair wool panels. Dior’s repeating pattern is also etched into the heel and toe bumpers of the rubber sole. Each edition also features thick slub shoelaces and metal eyelets, keeping to the classic sneaker look.
Joining these inline colours is a small capsule under the Dior Tears collaboration, which links up with Tremaine Emory’s Denim Tears brand. The collection is notably more rugged looking than the regular B33, thanks to the extensive use of denim, canvas and other durable materials. Heritage shades of indigo and brown also feature throughout this pack.
The Dior B33 arrives at select retailers from July 13.
