Distinct Life X New Balance 998 (Detroiters)

Despite the paranoid fearmongering of the older generations, television has nurtured creative minds since it sucked it first souls way back when. The latest nugget of inspiration to come from the neon muse is a collaborative sneaker design – produced by and – referencing the new Comedy Central show Detroiters. This American-made  is furnished in rich oak and cream tones, mimicking the ad agency office in which the show’s two protagonists work. Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to watch a couple of episodes… for research, of course.
