Drop Details: adidas Yeezy Basketball ‘Quantum’

After months and months of speculative release dates, we finally have a confirmed date for the  ‘Quantum’.

Set to debut in Kanye West’s hometown of Chicago over All-Star Weekend, the Basketball ‘Quantum’ bears resemblance to the popular BOOST 350 V2, but extends the ankle collars and incorporates suede overlays on the toe. The Yeezy label’s first foray into the world of basketball sneakers also features heavy 3M reflective detailing, a material choice that caused controversy when it was first revealed, the shoe reportedly banned by the NBA for causing distraction.

Two versions of the silhouette are now scheduled to land over All-Star Weekend, a lifestyle and basketball version with a price tag of $250.
