Oops! Eastbay Accidentally Ship 'Bred Toe' Air Jordan 1 Way Early
As a sneakerhead, there are few experiences worse than being sent the wrong pair – well, unless you're Jake Johnson. The Chicagoan recently received a parcel from Eastbay believing it to contain the the he'd ordered. But, upon throwing open the lid of the distinctive box, he found a fresh pair of the much-anticipated Air Jordan 1 '' staring up at him.
The release, which isn't due to hit stores until February 2018, remixes the classic '' AJ1 with a red toecap and premium tumbled leather. With such a hyped sneaker in hand so early, it didn't take long for a listing to appear on with an insane $10,000 asking price! However, Johnson soon posted the kicks on his tagged #IDontEvenEbay, #IWearMine and #ImNotEvenASneakerhead – so we can assume the listing was bogus. Gotta admit, we like this guy.
To top things off, Johnson – 'Olympic Weightlifter Trainer and Coach' according to his bio – videoed himself box jumping, weightlifting and squatting in his new wheels because #creases4character apparently.
