END. and adidas Are Inspired by Dark Matter For their Latest EVO 4D
UK retailer and have built quite the rapport over the past few years. Joining forces multiple times in 2020 alone, you can rely on the collaborative duo to create creps with obscure inspiration and a sick backstory, which is exactly the case with their second collaborative . First hitting up the model last month, the duo were inspired by sand dunes, reworking the ultra-technical lifestyle-focused silhouette with a tonal brown look. This time, they’ve decided to exit the Earth’s atmosphere, using Dark Matter as their muse.
Being inspired by Dark Matter – which is thought to make up 85 per cent of all material in the universe – END. have opted for a completely jet-black hue that covers the upper and 4D sole unit. Elsewhere, wavy white overlays help to offset the darker tone, while END. branding is placed in-sight on the lateral tab and insole.
Taking a look at the intricate details of the EVO 4D, we’ve got a mostly Primeknit upper, contrasted with white embroidered details, reflective panelling, and synthetic overlays. A cutting edge design, adidas have built the EVO 4D in the lab, catering for city-dwellers who desire maximum comfort while navigating the concrete jungle. Alongside the printed midsole, Team Trefoil have decked it out in all you’ll need to reach your maximum performance level on the sports field, but instead packaged it as a street-ready lifestyle silhouette.
