and have teamed up for a retro-themed bowling collection that includes co-branded apparel, shoes and accessories. The sneaker highlight is the , while a premium varsity jacket and bowling shirt are the clothing standouts. Given BAPE’s penchant for quirky trinkets, the custom bowling ball and pin come as no surprise.
The BAPE STAs are modelled on the classic split-toned shoes found at bowling alleys worldwide. A mix of green and burgundy on the lateral and medial sides respectively nod to throwback colourways, while the gum outsole and white toe box provide some essential contrast. END.’s contribution is the custom lace dubrae.
BAPE’s ape head motif is modified for the apparel and accessories, which see a humorous version depicting the streetwear simian going for a strike. The number 93 appears as a reference to BAPE’s founding year, while END.’s wordmark again shows up throughout the collection.
The most unique part of the pack is undoubtedly the custom-branded bowling ball and pin, which are sold separately. Don’t expect to see them in action down at the local lanes any time soon…
