Engineered Garments Trick Out Trio of Reebok LX2200
have linked up with for a three-pair pack of the LX2200, a modernised take on the 1980s LX8500 runner. In typical EG fashion, these shoes are asymmetrical by nature, as materials and colours are flipped between the left and right feet.
It’s most apparent on the green, brown and white pair, as it shows the juxtaposition between mesh, suede and even a bit of patent leather in the mix. Take a closer look at the toe bumpers and spot the difference.
Joining that autumnal pair is a black-on-black version that emphasises the textures at play, plus another white, black and grey colourway that loosely harks back to Reebok’s stately combos. Each pair in the collection is finished with graphic insoles from fabrics used in EG’s seasonal collections.
‘To design this shoe, we utilized basic earth colors and applied our traditional brand aesthetic through material mixtures and an asymmetrical color scheme,’ said EG founder Daiki Suzuki.
The Engineered Garments x Reebok LX2200 releases via EG on December 8, followed by a wider drop at select Reebok stockists on December 10.
