Ewing Athletics Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective

Allllllrightythen! is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the classic 90s comedy Ace Ventura: Pet Detective with a special capsule collaboration with custom king Mache.

Designed entirely by Mache himself, the capsule is headlined by an eye-catching  sneaker decorated with a wild Hawaiian-shirt-pattern inspired by Ace Ventura’s iconic drip.

‘I’ve definitely wanted to make an Ace shoe for years now,’ says Mache. ‘Being a person who grew up in the 90s, Ace was a classic comedy woven into our memories.’

Donning a Miami Dolphins scheme, the sneaker will come in a custom box to commemorate the film’s anniversary. Die-hard Ace aficionados can also complete the look with a matching jacket and shorts.

The Mache Customs x Ace Ventura: Pet Detective x Ewing 33 Hi will release on May 1 in very limited numbers online and at a release party at The Crown rooftop bar in New York’s Lower East Side. The first 50 pairs purchased at the event will come with an exclusive lace lock.
