Ex-Yeezy Designer Launches Own Sneaker Brand

A former member of the design team, Sara Jaramillo, has stepped out on her own with a new footwear brand. Her label, ILYSM, co-founded with Alice Wang, have just announced their new Tabi Sneaker, an eco-conscious take on a popular split-toed tabi silhouette used by Maison Margiela, among others.

The sneaker’s knit pattern means 30 per cent less material is wasted during construction, and all yarn is natural and traceable. As for colourways, three are available: black ‘Pitch Stripe’, white ‘Dust Stripe’, and darker ‘Pitch’.
