FILA Commemorate 25th Anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.’s Ready to Die

Yes, The Notorious B.I.G.’s seminal rap album, Ready to Die, turned 25 last year, but the East Coast rapper’s legacy lives on with FILA’s (now sold out) commemorative pack, adorning the Tennis 88 silhouette in Biggie motifs.

Hip hop and rap heads across the globe must have tuned in for this tight release, comprising of two sneakers and matching apparel. Sold out for good reason too – its lush suede flavour and OG red/black heel contrast is super fresh. Minimal branding is refreshing for a collaborative drop, only appearing on the insole art and tongue label.

The pretty crispy white and blue number is a hip-hop historian's dream, nodding to a '93 Philly performance where Biggie Smalls was decked out in all FILA everything.
