Finally! The Nike Air Max 90 ‘Infrared’ Retro Gets a Release Date
We knew it was coming, it was only a matter of when, but the news that Air Max fans have been waiting for is finally here: the release date for the ‘Infrared’ retro.
Capping off a bumper 30th year for the beloved Max model, the ‘Infrared’ colourway takes us back to where it all began. White mesh and grey suede up top, black leather on the mudguard, and the namesake shade in all the right places. It’s what we’ve been waiting for all year.
Like other anniversary pairs released this year, the ‘Infrared’ will share construction tweaks to the panels, toe box, and heel to align with the OG 90s build.
Similarly, it appears the colourway is also going back to its roots. Word is ‘Radiant Red’ not ‘Infrared’ will add the eye-searing hits. So really, we shouldn’t be calling it the ‘Infrared’ anyway… and, Nike will also be using the original model name: the Air Max III.
It gets a little confusing, but none of that will matter once they get on feet, and you won’t have to wait long. The anticipated retro will drop on November 9.
