First Look at the Polar Skate Co. x Nike SB Air Trainer 1
Originally designed as a multi-purpose performance shoe, the was built to be durable, making it perfect for the ‘Mach 10’ riding style of the Swedish skate lords.
Polar’s creator, Pontus Alv, started the brand in 2011 with this motto: ‘inspire others to inspire themselves’. Following this, the team have become known for building their own parks and spots that have now become iconic, so it’s no surprise that they’ve built a stylish and functional addition to the family.
This initial look at the up-and-coming collaboration sees the upper dressed in both smooth leather and nubuck with a gum sole, but it's the Polar branding on the iconic fore-foot strap that really finishes off this model in style.
