First Look: The Nike Dunk Low ‘City Market’
The looks set to continue its market-wide dominance in 2021, with ‘Lemon’ and ‘College Navy’ renditions already filling-up our release calendars.
One of the wilder renditions of the Dunk to date, the latest Nike Dunk Low ‘City Market’ is sure to dilate pupils. Ostensibly taking aesthetic cues from street marts filled with miscellaneous goods, this Nike Dunk pulls in a range of material and visual design language.
Extending the ‘City Market’ vernacular is the plastic bag that folds inside the tongue compartment, while the vintage-looking Nike tongue imitates the nutritional packaging of goods found in markets. ‘Thank You For Caring’ is emblazoned on the left sneaker, while a translucent Swoosh adds to the DIY nature of the design.
But our favourite part of the colourway? The exact weight of the shoes (2.2 lbs) is printed on the canvas mid-panel!
Look for the Nike Dunk Low ‘City Market’ to land on March 4. The retail price is locked at $110.
