First Look: Star Wars x adidas NMD R1 'Princess Leia'

Following the , the latest sneaker to surface from the ever-growing  x sneaker  is another take on the , this time based on another iconic heroine: Princess Leia.

Long-time fans will appreciate the aesthetic, which nods to Leia’s camouflage get-up from the Battle of Endor in Episode IV: Return of the Jedi. A militaristic melange of browns and greens hits the Primeknit upper and BOOST sole unit, while a graphic portrait of Leia hits the tongue. We know BOOST is known for developing a yellow tinge after prolonged wear, but adi have done the work for you on this occasion, decorating the heel section with a worn yellow look and ‘THERE IS HOPE’ text.
