Foot Locker Revisit a Legendary Nike Tuned

Guess who’s back! An icon from Foot Locker’s prodigious Tuned archive, the inimitable turquoise/black colourway is set to storm back onto shelves this week, the design paying homage to the OG release of 2014.

Originally a Foot Locker Australia exclusive (before it gained global appeal), the mesh uppers are rendered in crisp white, while Sean McDowell’s TPU uppers are emblazoned in inky black and bold turquoise. Emboldened by eye-catching neon Swooshes, the ocean-like aesthetics are carried throughout the iconic seven Air bubbles, where the revolutionary cushioning system derives its namesake.

The midfoot shank (lovingly nicknamed the ‘whale tail’) also looks pristine in white, with the plastic toe cap and midsoles following suit. Of course, cult-like TN emblems strike the heels and tongues, while 3M reflective detailing complete the design.
