Footpatrol Prepare to Drop Exclusive New Balance 1906R

Ever since being rolled out in 2022, silhouette has seen tremendous success, and the modernised take on a Y2K-inspired silhouette has become a mainstay in the NB catalogue. Despite neither being made in the USA or the UK, the 1906R has forged its own legacy, building on high heat collaborations with the likes of , , , , , and even . This year already there’s been a ton of sought-after 1906Rs, and the latest from has just added another to the list.

Set to be an exclusive to the UK-based retailer, this colourway has been inspired by x-rays, with Footpatrol saying in a press release: ‘X-ray is one of very few ways that we - with inquisitive minds - can explore the human body’s inner workings without penetrating the surface’. The midsole represents the meeting point of bone and fibrous muscle, with the upper using colours from an actual x-ray. Elsewhere, the construction stays pretty true to form, boasting mostly mesh uppers and synthetic overlays.

The Footpatrol-exclusive New Balance 1906R will land through the retailer’s channels on May 31.
