Full Reveal: A Closer Look at the 2018 Kith x Coca-Cola x Converse Collection
After a week of , has finally revealed the footwear component of his latest x Coca-Cola capsule collection in full. The colab consists of four different make-ups of linked by a theme of global unity, with each colourway representing a different nation from around the world.
Russia, France and China respectively are represented through white, navy and yellow compositions that embrace the colours of each nation's flag. The Russian version features 'Koka-Kola', the beverage's Russian name, embroidered on the left heel, while the Chinese version features its own nation's unique logo. All designs are constructed from raw-edged heavyweight denim, branded with the Kith logo on the midsole and ankle patch, and finished with green-tinged translucent outsoles representative of Coca-Cola's iconic glass bottle. In an additional touch to drive home the message of unity, the words 'We stand as one. We live as many.' are repeated on the shoe's foxing tape.
