Futura’s Nike Jam Collaboration Is Dropping Soon

has been a dominating force in sneakersphere headlines over the past year, blessing sneakerheads with another collaboration, working with and designing the Olympic Breakdancing outfits. The latter collaboration was unveiled during Nike’s extravaganza, alongside the silhouette, made especially for break dancers. This sneaker was made in partnership with Nike’s Sports Research Lab, who studied breakdancers. The cutest detail is the mid-foot Swoosh, which is upside down, but when breakers themselves go upside down, the branding will be the right side up!

It’s now been unveiled with official images from Team Swoosh that the legendary artist will have his own collaborative Nike Jam. Unlike his previous collaborations, Futura’s Nike Jam takes a low-key approach with an off-white upper plus subtle black and coloured contrasting accents. Mesh has been laid down as the base, with additional synthetic fabric, leather and suede overlays. The only mark left by the designer is on the coloured insole, which boasts his signature font reading ‘Nike by Futura'.

A release date has allegedly been locked in for July 24, but stay locked to Sneaker Freaker to keep updated.
