Hajime Sorayama and BAPE Chrome Out the SK8 STA
Hajime Sorayama is furthering his metallic silver footwear crusade, linking up with for a chromed-out take on the SK8 STA. The famed Japanese illustrator is most known for his portraits of sultry silver robots, and the chromed-out shades he so adores are on full display across his SK8 STA and its accompanying collection of apparel and accessories.
If you're looking for sexy robot style, there's plenty of it to be had on Sorayama's SK8 STA. The entire upper is built of metallic silver patent leather, and various pieces are trimmed in gold metallic patent as well. Faint lines on the mudguard and extra detailing on the midfoot logo add further to the look, and gold metal hardware gives the assemblage a final pop of flair.
Besides the kicks, there's also an expansive apparel collection, with white/gold and black/gold iterations of BAPE's famous shark hoodie as well as crewnecks, long and short-sleeve T-shirts and sweatpants. Rounding out the offerings are a pair of sunglasses and two skateboard decks.
Expect the Hajime Sorayama x BAPE collection to hit the BAPE webstore on December 26. The SK8 STA is priced at $325, while the clothing and accessories range from $115 to $495.
