HAL STUDIOS Celebrate the ASICS GEL-1130
Located on the western fringe of Australia, have been holding down their hometown Perth for the past 17 years. With a track record second-to-none in their antipodean backyard, the birthday bonanza is being overseen by founder Matt Thomas and creative director John Bouquet, via a collaborative project released under the freshly-minted HAL STUDIOS® moniker.
The GEL-1130 is coated in natural tones and textures, with hirsute suede and faux leather contrasted against wide-open mesh underlays. The refined modus operandi is extended with the use of minimal branding, transparent heel tags and subtle logo callouts embroidered on the lateral tiger stripes. Conceived within a ‘maximal-minimalist’ ethos, the GEL-1130 is still loaded with coveted performance tech, including the signature Trusstic support system and iconic GEL cushioning. Three sets of laces are available to customise the trail-inspired palette.

Pairs will be made available today on April 14 on the retailer's web store. On April 16 they'll hit Up There and in-store at Highs and Lows. A global release will also hit ASICS stockists on April 23.
