Hanon Exalt the OG Padmore & Barnes P204 Wallabee
Scottish boutique have collaborated with again, right off the back of their recent M387 Willow Sport collaboration. This time the two parties rework the , or perhaps better regarded as the OG . As history dictated, the Ireland-based Padmore & Barnes used to manufacture the iconic moc-and-crepe kick back in the 1970s for neighbouring over in Somerset, England. This new colab is full of subtle flair and constructed to a calibre befitting the occasion.
This P204 is a caramel chew for the feet, featuring a toffee-toned mix of ‘Tan’ and ‘Camel’ uppers made from leather. The quarters are of the very supple, tumbled variety, while the vamp is a contrasting suede texture, leading to a darker smooth collar strip. These fine materials are, by the way, sourced from Italy – making for a type of European union in sneaker form, and sit atop No.1 Plantation crepe. Which Hanon assure is the objective top grade of the squishy natural compound.
Hanon literally leave their mark on this colab via co-branded gold stamping on the footbeds, plus a little flame logo emblazoned onto the ankle tabs. The P204 is finished with multiple tonal lace choices, and each pair is an individually numbered edition of 60. Rare.
Raffle entries to purchase the Hanon x Padmore & Barnes P204 Wallabee are open now until March 26 on Hanon’s webstore.
