HUMAN MADE Bring BOOST to the adidas Forum
Japanese streetwear OG is continuing his collaborative series with , keeping the partnership going via his label. Recent colabs have included key heritage Three Stripes models like the and , but also more modern creations like the Tokio Solar. Now, the next HUMAN MADE x adidas collection sees the old meeting the new: Nigo has brought BOOST cushioning technology to the classic .
Using the low-cut edition of the venerable adi style, this HUMAN MADE remix offers three easy-to-wear colourways. Each use classic two-tone colour-blocking: white/green, white/navy, and grey/red. The material selection also sees variety with primarily leather uppers that are accented by suede stripes and nylon tongues. Nigo adds the HUMAN MADE touch via ample heart logos and brand mottos like ‘DRY ALLS’ on the heel counters and strap windows, respectively.
Underfoot, the aforementioned BOOST soles meet the Forum for the first time, bridging a 30-plus-year span of flagship adidas technology. (ICYMI, the Forum was a top-flight basketball shoe back in 1984, showcasing the best of adi innovation). The forefoot is protected with raised midsole walls, while the heel exposes the spongy material.
The HUMAN MADE x adidas Forum releases on April 23 via selected retailers.
