The ICE STUDIOS x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 is Releasing!

The ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 is enjoying a watershed year in 2022. Stuffed with all the nostalgic aesthetics of the late 2000s, the GEL-Kayano 14 was perfectly positioned to exploit the nascent Y2K revival, the model tapped by everyone from moodboard darling JJJJound to Field Trip. The latest collaborator to join the Kayano fray is ICE STUDIOS, a NYC-based label founded by photographer Renell Medrano.

Unsurprisingly, the colour palette is ice cold, with the GEL-Kayano 14’s mesh and leather uppers doused in hues of baby blue. Pops of yellow are used for the Ice Studios branding on the heels and the midsoles, while a combination of blue and white round-out the outsoles.

Early pairs of the Ice Studios x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 have already been shipped to friends and family. Expect a public release of the collaboration over the coming weeks.
