Is This the next Nike Gyakusou Sneaker?

Out of the blue, images have surfaced of a new silhouette bearing the branding of Jun Takahashi’s running project: .

Hot off the heels of the , this new sneaker displays tell-tale performance runner design, paired with the UNDERCOVER designer’s penchant for distinct colour-blocking.

A mixture of engineered mesh, synthetic overlays, and microfibre forms the upper. Branding is kept relatively minimalist, with a co-branded heritage pinwheel on the heel, and ‘Gyakusou went the distance’ printed right on the toebox tip. Is that a Nike Trail logo on the outsole toe cap? That means this could be a trail runner!

Previewed by spicychickenwings, there appear to be two colourways so far: red and gold. As for the rose motif above the Swoosh, we’ll have to wait and see what the story is behind that.
