It’s Clear 'White Ice' is the Cleanest Reebok Question Low Yet
are continuing their hot streak of releases that have been steadily streaming ever since they revived the model this time last year. Previous drops have either been retro reissues, PE editions, or collaborations, but this upcoming colourway is precisely none of those things. In fact, this Question Low is completely ‘Clear’ – not literally, of course.
All Reebok have done here is rendered the uppers entirely in white leather. Even the signature contrast toecap decides not to stick out with its usual patent or suede finish, and instead tows the tumbled texture line. Similarly, other upper features like the mesh tongue, laces and their loops are blanked out.
It’s mostly the same story underfoot. The ‘Clear’ moniker is derived from the midsole’s Hexalite windows, which are completely transparent and unshaded. This nickname can also be applied to the ice outsole, though it does take on a cool blue hue. Finishing elements that would usually stick out via contrast embroidery or colouring are now debossed, or simply filled in with white.
