Jacquemus and Nike Are Dropping a Collaborative Swoosh Bag

Jacquemus and Nike have linked up on collaborations for a few years now, and while there have been plenty of sneakers on their line-up, the pair are now dropping a collaborative handbag next week.

Jacquemus and Nike first linked in 2022, dropping a 15-piece collection that took inspiration from 90s Nike ACG pieces and ad campaigns. Putting their Parisian touch on the Air Humara in two colourways, a third pink colourway followed up a few months later. The partnership continued into 2023, with the Parisian fashion house taking on the Air Force 1, putting a remix on the midsole to create the J Force 1. Using Nike’s eco-friendly Considered line as motivation for the midsole, the traditional glue and stitching are replaced with a thick weaving to reduce materials, making the sneaker more eco-friendly. The J Force 1 dropped in three colourways: Black, White, and Orange, with a fourth Brown colourway expected to drop later this year as well.

For their 2024 endeavour, Jacquemus are redesigning their signature Le Chiquito handbag in the shape of a Swoosh. In a teaser on Instagram, Jacquemus doesn’t state who’s holding the Swoosh bag, but based on the nails and tattoos, it looks like the current fastest woman on Earth and gold medal hopeful Sha’Carri Richardson. Jacquemus branding is small but stands out against the leather bag, which is dropping in 'Dark Brown', 'Bone', and 'Dark Pink'.
