James Bond Shakes up UltraBOOST with an adidas Colab
James Bond is preparing to shake up the canon with an collaboration that includes five different designs. Making full use of his licence to kill, the notorious spy has inspired three new colourways for the UltraBOOST 2020, plus a DNA and a SUMMER.RDY rendition. The pack has been timed to help celebrate the release of the upcoming No Time to Die, the latest installment in a film franchise that is fast approaching its 60th birthday.
The three UltraBOOST colourways opt for the darkest aesthetic of the collection, including an entirely ‘Core Black’ rendition, a ‘Core Black’ and ‘Iron Metallic’ combo, and a grey, white and black melange. Naturally, each of those models include all of the usual UB goodies, including the super comfy Primeknit upper, and the eponymous responsive cushioning down below.
Meanwhile, the UltraBOOST DNA release goes all white, bringing back memories of another recent film icon on the same silhouette: the edition. However, this one goes much whiter, including the outsole – which could scare the living daylights out of clean freaks.
To complete the collection, the UltraBOOST SUMMER.RDY matches its name, opting for lighter shades, dressing mostly in white before minor touches of grey and black are added for contrast.
Bond-specific details across the pack include signature touches to the tongues, heels and insoles.
All pairs are expected to arrive on October 29, so keep your GoldenEye on adidas and selected Trefoil stockists. Don’t let the sky fall in if you miss out on these cinematic sneaks.
