And some of these combos are a little bit more special than others, such as this new 327 trio that’s been redone in ripstop nylon – and is exclusive to JD Sports.

For those who have been following the 327 since its induction in early 2020, the usage of ripstop is yet another effective material swap in the seemingly never-ending swatch book. In fact, this fabric plays well into the 1970s moodboard that the 327 draws upon, as nylon is the prevailing material used on running shoes of the era. In fact, a number of other throwback cues are retained on these three colourways, such as the suede overlays on the elongated toe wrap, the eyestays, and heel counter. The same goes for the knobbly rubber outsole with its unique extended heel roll.
