JD Sports Have The Jump on the Nike Air Max 200!

The undisputed king of trainers, JD Sports, are keeping their finger on the pulse with a trio of the new . A continuation of the Swoosh’s monumental Air Max lineage, the AM200 is a 2019 lifestyle update to the Air 180 from the early 90s.

The 200’s most obvious nod to the 180 is the coloured midsole accent surrounding the bulbous visible Air unit. Blending heritage and contemporary design cues, the mesh upper receives layered yet seamless construction to create a contrasted colour palette.

A striking men’s colourway sees a two-tone black and white edition receive a splash of colour on the heel and eyelets. The same concept is explored in the women’s version, with hints of gold and green, contrasted further by purple lining and a bright pink Air unit.

However, Nike pays homage to its roots by rendering a third women’s option with a pale upper, deep blue Air unit, and red midsole accent – a direct reference to the OG ‘Ultramarine’ Air 180.
