Though these images were quickly taken down (founder Justin Saunders even tweeted to hint that they were fake), they revealed a tan-coloured suede pair that sat alongside a black leather version. Back in March, this black leather pair received its , dropping alongside a reverse white and black colourway, leaving the suede pair nowhere to be seen. Until now.

On Friday, Saunders posted a photo of a JJJJound x adidas-branded football, which suggest that the duo was gearing up to drop another colab instalment. Now, JJJJound have confirmed that the tan suede pair will indeed be dropping, as a first proper look at the pair has surfaced on the studio’s Instagram. As expected, the upcoming JJJJound x adidas Samba sports a tonal make-up, with hairy tan suede uppers working alongside tobacco-toned leather stripes and lining, while a gum sole and JJJJound-branded insoles rest underfoot.

Those who’ve been keeping up with the colab will remember that the first instalment came with some controversy, as the brand’s social campaign suggested that the pairs were handmade in Germany, but it was later revealed that some parts of the shoe were made in Vietnam. So far there’s no indication of where this latest colourway was constructed, so we’ll have to wait for more info. As far as a release date goes, JJJJound are yet to confirm anything, but UK retailer reposted the photo of the collaborative footballs with a caption that confirmed that the collaboration would land there soon. With the Euros getting underway in Germany over the next few weeks, it’s likely that we won’t have to wait long to get our hands on them. Keep it locked for Sneaker Freaker for more as it comes in!
