JJJJound and New Balance Confirm Their Gorpiest GORE-TEX 2002R Yet

Moodboard masters haven’t shown any signs of stopping this year, and they’re now following up their recently-revealed with an extra gorpy . This sees them give the silhouette another run-out, complete with uppers and a winter-ready colour palette.

The upcoming GORE-TEX JJJJound x New Balance 2002R sees the duo switch up its usual preferred suede for fully weatherproofed, leather-like uppers with GTX-infused mesh on the underlays. As far as the palette goes, JJJJound have gone extra minimal, ditching their favoured tonal make-ups for a stealthy, murdered-out look, save for the grey gel capsule in the heel and a hint of reflective panelling on the ankle. Instead of sticking with the silhouette’s usual laces, JJJJound have equipped the pair with toggled versions for an extra tactical finish.

As it stands, JJJJound haven’t revealed a concrete release date for the pair, but the Instagram teaser does confirm a FW24 release. Stay locked for more as it comes in!
