Joe Freshgoods Confirms New Balance 990v6 Drop

Heads up, fans, because it looks like he’s got another drool-inducing colab on the way.

Your favourite sneaker collaborator's favourite sneaker collaborator is at it again with the Boston-based footwear giant. This time, Freshgoods has crafted what appears to be two special colourways of the New Balance 990v6. Details are scarce on the colab in question so far, as we only have a couple of images teased by Mr. Freshgoods himself on his Instagram account.

Along with a very cool and refreshing looking New Balance and Joe Freshgoods co-branded pool in his latest IG slideshow, he tempts us with a look at an all-baby blue suede pair of the 990v6 that has enough of the hue to make any UNC Tarheels fan blush. The look is also a bit reminiscent of the now-classic release from 2022, as the JFG 990v6 has a similar vibe in premium suede and mesh with a totally tonal light blue appearance from top to bottom.

A third image of interest shared by Joe shows two New Balance shoe boxes – one in light blue to match these kicks and one in an orange-to-red gradient – seems to suggest that a second colourway of the 990v6 may be accompanying the blue version. Or is it a totally different New Balance model? Joe has strategically angled the box so you can’t read the label, so it could be anything in there.
