One of the freshest faces in the sneakersphere is back in the lab with After the success of their beloved 2020 collaboration on the New Balance ‘No Emotions Are Emotions’, Chicago’s very own is revisiting his signature colourway five years later. The latest edition, aptly dubbed ‘Aged Well’, is ostensibly a weathered reinterpretation of the original. Aging with more grace than a Château Margaux, this design boasts muted tones and a faux worn-in aesthetic. Soft, subtle hues tell a fresh story while extending the visual language of its predecessor. This time, the palette is infused with shades of rusty orange, warm desert browns, and burnt sienna, offering a rich, earthy vibe.

All the hallmarks of the original design remain intact in this sequel, including Joe Freshgoods branding on the heels and tongues. Teaser imagery also hints at plenty of customisation options with the laces (it looks like there’s four in total), ensuring you'll have no shortage of ways to make the ‘Aged Well’ truly your own.

While release dates and pricing are yet to be confirmed, one thing is certain – this drop will sell out fast, so make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates. It’s also worth noting that the original New Balance 992 ‘No Emotions Are Emotions’ helped get the heart thumping for Valentine’s Day back in 2020, so don’t be surprised if you see this one hit shelves in February.
