The Jordan 6 Rings ‘Concord’ Received Another Quiet Retro

As Michael Jordan’s signature line, Jordan Brand love to reference historic moments from the GOAT’s career, looking to ‘Shattered Backboards’ and his college fraternity for inspiration. They’re also known to create hybrid silhouettes such as the Dub Zero, Spiz’ike and Two Trey, which always have a tendency to divide die-hard supporters. The Jordan 6 Rings is also on that list, known for a mishmash design, it features elements from six classic Jordan Brand models. A homage to the shoes MJ wore on the journey to being a six-time NBA champion, it’s been given another quiet retro in the classic ‘Concord’ colourway.

The Jordan 6 Rings pulls its midsole from the AJ13, midsection from the AJ11, borrows lace hardware from the AJ8, heel pull-tab from the AJ6, and its tongue reminiscent of that used on the AJ7 and AJ12. The ‘Concord’ colourway is synonymous with the Air Jordan 11 and boasts a mostly white upper and midsole with black patent leather mudguard and accents. Rounding it out is the special inner tongue graphic reading ’96, 97, 98’.

The Jordan 6 Rings in the ‘Concord’ colourway had a surprise retro release via Nike’s webstore, however only a few sizes remain. Get in quick!
