While some say it stands for 'Remix' and others say it's 'Restomod', say it’s going to continue. The release was headlined by a collaboration with BMX rider and was one of the most debated models of 2024. In partnership with Nigel, Jordan Brand released two colourways, the , before going on to release a slew of general release pairs. Now, as reported this week by SneakerFiles, the RM tooling will hit the , debuting in a red and black colourway similar to the Jordan 7 ‘Playoffs'.
Much like the AJ4 RM, this design will feature a low-top construction and new materials that make it more durable. The upper will be constructed with ballistic nylon, which will withstand anything from BMX to skate. It also appears that the ‘Nike Air’ logo will be present on the heel, a first for the Jordan 7, and this could mean Nigel Sylvester will also be involved with this model since the collaboratives pairs of the AJ4 RM featured his now-signature 'Bike Air' branding.
There's no release date set for the Air Jordan 7 RM, but it is expected to land some time during the Northern Hemisphere's Fall 2025. Stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for the latest.
