The Jordan Luka 1 ‘Bred’ Is Buckets, Baby
Who else can’t wait to see more ‘Luka magic’ in 2022? Slovenian Maverick Luka Dončić, one of the precocious young stars in the league, will no doubt have a rotation of fresh kicks for his tilt at a 2022/23 NBA championship. The upcoming ‘Bred’ is an ode to one of his idols,
Rendered in a familiar black, ‘University Red’ and dark grey, the colourway will likely soar to the top of Jordan-heads’ lists.
A low-top silhouette designed for Dončić’s beguiling game, the Luka 1 features two major technical innovations: a support system that Jordan Brand has dubbed IsoPlate and a new Formula 23 foam-cushioning setup. The IsoPlate – which Jordan Brand describes as an evolution of the Flight Plate found in the Air Jordan 28 and the Eclipse Plate debuted in the Air Jordan 34 – wraps the wearer’s lateral forefoot for added stability in their stride. Lockdown is also aided by Flightwire cables that can be seen on the lateral half of the upper.
Look for the Jordan Luka 1 ‘Bred’ to release on October 25 on the Nike webstore.
