Josh Brubaker’s FILMSUEDE Debuts F82 Sneaker

Some of you may be unfamiliar with the name Josh Brubaker, but we’re certain you’re across plenty of his work. Brubaker is two-decades long footwear design veteran who’s worked across a number of brands including , and Lusso and he co-founded . At Supra, he was the mind behind the many variants, and many more including , and signature shoes. Now with 22 years under his belt, Brubaker has founded FILMSUEDE, a new brand with a mission rooted in collaboration.

‘FILMSUEDE is my creative venture, born from a love for the nostalgia and culture that shaped my upbringing,’ Brubaker said in a press release. ‘This project brings together my passion for the past and the products that have been inspired by the music, movies, fashion, and more that played a significant role inmy formative years. With FILMSUEDE, I aim to share this sense of nostalgia with others who appreciate the same cultural touchstones and create products that capture the essence of those memorable times.’

The first release has been dubbed the F82 and the colourway ‘Antarctica’, which will be limited to only 100 pairs worldwide. For their first release, the upper comes in a premium full-grain Napa leather, with added sport mesh. Subtle branding details can be caught on the tongue, rounding it all out.
