Juun.J Gives the PUMA Speedcat a Motocross-Inspired Makeover

The has a long-storied history in motorsport, with its roots firmly embedded in . However, its reintroduction earlier this year is set to welcome new fashion-forward interpretations of the silhouette, including a slew of social media customs and now this link-up with designer Juun.J.

Marking the South Korean designer’s second collaboration with the Big Cat, Juun.J. looks to reconnect with the Speedcat’s roots, offering up a motocross-themed campaign and motorsport-themed detailing. For starters, the Juun.J. Speedcat arrives in a stealthy all-black colour palette across both high-top and low-cut silhouettes, with both boasting a sculptural, armour-like upper complete with debossed lines and detailing that mimicks a motorcycle boot. Continuing on the motorsport-inspired theme, the pairs also feature tyre tread patterns on the outsoles.
