K-Swiss Calls Ghostbusters for Foot Locker Exclusives

It’s been 35 years since the original (and some would say true) Ghostbusters film released. celebrate by releasing a dastardly duo in tribute of the sci-fi comedy flick’s most nefarious villains: Slimer and Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Drawn up by customiser Alexander-John, the K-Swiss Classic 2000 is Slimer’s silhouette, presented in not-oft seen ‘Ectoplasm Green’ on the shoe’s entirety. Referencing slow-witted Slimer’s ghost, the PVC upper and ice sole takes on an eerie translucence.

Meanwhile, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man’s SI-18 International takes a more holistic execution, sharing the evil mascot’s costuming with a custom padded upper. Explicit callouts to the film’s anniversary are found with ‘GB-84’ embroidery, Ghostbusters heel badge, and shoelaces quoting the famed line: ‘I ain’t afraid of no ghost’.

Both sneakers receive custom insole graphics and come packaged in rather clever shoeboxes paying homage to the Ghostbusters’ ghost traps.

Available online exclusive to , the Ghostbusters pack releases on June 8. However, dedicated fans can also catch it during the Ghostbusters Fan Fest at Sony Pictures Studio Lot.
