Kawhi Leonard’s New Balance KAWHI III ‘Alpha Predator’ Is Here
In 2020, debuted his first signature sneaker with , eponymously labelled the KAWHI. A few years down the track, the duo have continued to build upon their ongoing partnership, and in 2023, they’re ready to announce a new iteration of the silhouette: the KAWHI III. Each new rendition reveals certain advancements, making them more unique and improved each time. Last year, the KAWHI II introduced new tech like FitWeave Lite, and now, the latest model is set to follow the same path.
Introducing the KAWHI III – fully equipped with Energy Arc technology. Through the use of Energy Arc, the shoe is fitted out with a full-length, FuelCell midsole that offers a propulsive energy return and is designed to react to the game’s split-second changes. In terms of aesthetics, the shoes feature a minimalist design through lightweight knit construction across the uppers and a seamless half-bootie that connects directly to the tongue. The heels also feature a moulded component, allowing for a natural, responsive layer of support. The colourway is somewhat monochromatic but features hits of red alongside speckled midsoles. Enlarged NB branding strikes the tongues, as well as co-branded markings on the insoles.
