Kiko Kostadinov Reveals Upcoming ASICS Silhouettes

Damn had a good year in 2018. With three successful colabs, the Bulgarian designer cemented himself has one to watch in 2019 (and a spot in our ).

While we don’t expect him to play it safe — have you seen his  — he’s really going out on a limb with two upcoming high-tops. The first sports a mesh upper with swooping overlays and scaly detailing at the heel, while the second taps some kind of ninja futurism with its laceless, synthetic build. Both forgo the ASICS Tiger Stripe for the brand’s ‘a’ logo in an unusual swerve for a lifestyle release.

We’re not sure if we’re on board, but considering Kiko’s track record we’re willing to reserve judgement and see if they grow on us.

No solid date yet, but expect them to arrive with the FW19 collection.
