Kyrie Irving Debuts ANTA KAI Tribe Lifestyle Model

He took those skills to the design room last season, with his inaugural year as an signature athlete producing the hit KAI ANTA 1. Thanks to its high performance elements, affordable price point, and unique storytelling, Kyrie and ANTA managed to break into the market with a debut signature model. Now, the partnership is setting their sights on the off-court market with the lifestyle-geared ANTA KAI Tribe.

Initially teased by Irving on his Twitch livestream earlier this week, he then wore the new ANTA KAI Tribe over the weekend while attending the WayMaker Men’s Summit in Chicago. The lifestyle model shares the KAI 1’s geometrical designs and texture but steers away from the performance materials with tumbled leather and suede overlays. The padded ankle collar provides a skate inspired element and based on the pairs available in the Philippines, there will be three colourways: 'Black & White', 'Almond White', and 'Purple Tail'.

No official global release details have become available just yet, but the model is currently available in Asia. On his livestream, Kai said they would cost $70 and the pairs on the Philippine's ANTA website are listed at what converts to $80 USD. While it is unclear at this time what the American retail price will be, the ANTA KAI Tribe is poised to be an affordable option for anyone looking to add an off-court lifestyle sneaker to their rotation. In the meantime, the highly anticipated is set to release September 28.
